Where Celestigold comes from

The three third-party guides we hold agree on the same answer for Celestigold: it is mined in the Mine Pit — the mining area — of Brandrgarde, and it comes out of Lazurite veins. nerdschalk.com, mistfallhub.com and mistfallhunterguide.org all place it in Brandrgarde, and two of the three name Lazurite as the vein it is pulled from. That agreement is the whole of what is documented: a region and a rock type, not a spot on the map.

No source gives an exact coordinate, and one guide adds the honest qualifier that the map is randomized. The Brandrgarde page holds no coordinates for the same reason — the game randomises its maps, so a fixed farm point is not something anyone can reliably publish yet.

The one place Celestigold is not documented as coming from is Hallowgrove. One guide states it plainly: no documented sources place it on Hallowgrove. That negative lines up with Blood Moss, another material whose documented route is Brandrgarde, and keeps the two raid maps distinct.

Why farming and the Auction House read differently

The two routes to Celestigold do not cancel each other out, because they move in opposite directions.

Buying: one guide says Celestigold cannot currently be bought from the Auction House, which is why farming and extraction matter so much. That is a statement about the buy side of the market.

Selling: the same material, sold the other way, is different. A merchant will buy it, and for a Legendary material the Auction House is usually the better exit — meaning if you have one to sell, the player-to-player price beats the vendor.

So “you cannot buy it on the Auction House” and “selling it there gets you a better price” are both true and do not contradict: one is about what you can get, the other about what you can fetch. Neither means the material is absent from the Auction House today.

What Celestigold is for

Celestigold is a construction material of Legendary rarity, and it is spent in three places the guides all agree on:

• Camp construction — the building half of the game, where construction materials go on camp upgrades.
• Forge gear — the exception that lets a construction material feed equipment, through the Forge.
• The Shop level 6 upgrade — one of the upgrades that asks for it.

Because it is a construction material, its home is the building side of the game, and the camp upgrades page covers what each tier asks for.

How to read its price

Our material price table records two figures for Celestigold, and they answer two different questions:

• Vendor value 1526 — what a merchant pays you for it.
• Market price 2289 — the average the source records for player-to-player sales.

The two coexist with the “cannot buy it on the Auction House” statement because the market figure is a historical average, not a current listing. A table of past player-to-player trades can show a number while no one is selling it right now. If you are comparing what it costs, the material table is the authority for that; this page is about where it comes from and what it does.

The gap in the record

Everything above about the route comes from three third-party guides. The price figures come from our own dataset. Bellring Games has published no item guide, so nothing here can be checked against a first-party source.

Three claims are single-source and are kept as community leads rather than stated as fact:

• A ~9.8% drop rate from Large Ore Pile, which appears in only one guide and nowhere else — treated as an unverified estimate.
• Slumbering Contracts as an exchange route, which the source itself labels a community observed lead rather than a studio-scheduled feature.
• A fixed farm spot in the north-west, which the same guide immediately qualifies with but the map is randomized.

None of the three is asserted here as a mechanic. If you need Celestigold now, the dependable read is the one the guides agree on: mine Lazurite in the Brandrgarde Mine Pit, or sell what you already hold at the Auction House price if you came looking to offload one.
