Hallowgrove
One of the two raid maps, and the only one we hold with its place names printed on it. The image is from the Chinese build, so this page draws the English name over each label the game prints — the Divine Anchor, Verdant Grounds, Sunset Fjord, the Einherjar Ship Grave and the rest. Switch the overlay off and the original is underneath, unaltered.
Where each English name comes from
The map image is from the Chinese build, so every label printed on it is in Chinese. Putting an English name beside one can be done three ways, and they are not equally reliable — so the list says which each row is.
Ten come from the game’s own English. Quest objectives, quest titles and Treasure Key item descriptions are all in English, and they name places directly. Prayer at the Divine Anchor is a quest title. The Verdant Grounds key says its chest is in “the cellar on the south side of the Verdant Grounds in the Hallowgrove”. These are Bellring Games’ words, not anybody’s rendering of them.
Eleven come from English guides, and are tagged from guides. The bar for including one was two things at once: independent sites agreeing on the name, and the position they describe matching where the Chinese label sits on our image. Agreement alone would only prove that one guide copied another.
Six have no English name we could find, and are listed by their Chinese label with nothing invented to fill the gap.
That last group used to be much larger, and it used to be full of our own translations. They were wrong often enough to be worth showing:
| On the map | We had translated it | It is actually called |
|---|---|---|
| 丰饶之所 | Place of Abundance | Verdant Grounds |
| 神之锚 | Anchor of the God | Divine Anchor |
| 引魂塔 | Soul-Guiding Tower | Soul Beacon |
| 凛风小径 | Cold Wind Path | Frostwind Path |
| 荒冢 | Desolate Tomb | Desolate Barrow |
| 眠龙据点 | Sleeping Dragon Outpost | Slumbering Stronghold |
| 神罚古遗迹 | Ancient Ruins of Divine Punishment | Divine Retribution Ruins |
Every one of those translations was defensible and every one was useless: not a single player searching for that place would have typed any of them.
The ten the game names itself
| Place | On the map | Where the game says it |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Anchor | 神之锚 | Quest title Prayer at the Divine Anchor |
| Supreme Hall | 至高大厅 | “a bell fragment near the Supreme Hall of Hallowgrove” |
| Verdant Grounds | 丰饶之所 | Treasure Key — “south side of the Verdant Grounds in the Hallowgrove” |
| Demigod Coast | 半神海岸 | Treasure Key — Demigod Coast |
| Sunset Fjord | 落日峡湾 | Treasure Key — “caves at the bottom of the fjord in the Hallowgrove” |
| Slumbering Stronghold | 眠龙据点 | Treasure Key — “north of the Slumbering Stronghold in the Hallowgrove” |
| Einherjar Ship Grave | 英灵船墓 | Quest objective, and a Treasure Key |
| Nameless Ship Grave | 无名船墓 | Quest objective |
| Ancestor Tower | 祖灵塔 | Quest objective |
| Gravekeeper’s Hut | 守墓人小屋 | Quest objective |
The Treasure Key descriptions turn out to be the densest source of place names in the game’s English text — each one names a location and then says where in the map it sits. They are the reason this page can name the Divine Anchor and the Slumbering Stronghold without guessing. The one line that does not come from a Treasure Key is the Supreme Hall’s: a bell fragment near it, which the quest table ties to the Bell of Return step Tracking the Treasure.
Chaos mode, and what is not a Chaos map
Four quests here require Chaos mode by name: Deep Investigation, Evil Purge, Housecleaning and Investigate Soul Experiments. Their objectives read like the ordinary ones with a condition bolted on — Kill Underlords in Hallowgrove in Chaos mode, Investigate the Ancestor Tower in Hallowgrove in Chaos mode. Nine objectives across the whole game ask for Chaos mode, and these four are the only ones that also name a map.
What it changes mechanically, we cannot tell you. The developers have not written about it and the quest strings never say more than the name.
One thing we can save you: the source wiki carries two images called Hallowgrove-Normal and Hallowgrove-Chaos, and neither is a map. They are scene artwork of one location in its two states. The names make them sound like a before-and-after of the terrain, and this page shipped them as exactly that until somebody opened them — so if you go looking for a Chaos-mode map on the strength of those filenames, that is what you will find instead.
What is drawn on the map, and what is not
Twenty English names are drawn on the image, each one sitting on the label it translates. Nothing else is. There are no extraction points, no boss markers, no chests — the things an interactive map usually exists for.
That looks like an odd place to draw the line until you ask what each mark would be claiming. Putting Divine Anchor where 神之锚 is printed claims one thing: that 神之锚 means Divine Anchor. The position is not ours; it is where the game wrote the name, and we found it by looking at the picture. Putting an extraction marker somewhere would claim we know where extractions are, and we do not. The first is a translation. The second would be a guess drawn in the same ink as a fact, which is the one mistake this site cannot recover from.
So the rule the overlay follows is narrow on purpose: a coordinate here may only ever place a translation of the label already at that spot. Everything the image does not itself say stays off it.
This is also why the overlay has a switch. Turn it off and you get the source image, untouched, with every Chinese label we covered readable again. A translation you can only take on trust is a claim; one you can hold against the original is evidence.
Six labels have no plate over them and are still in Chinese — 泊船地, 栖灵河滩, 南部民居, 西部哨卡, 草束屋 and 异教徒焚烧处. No English name for those turned up in the game’s text or in any guide, and inventing one is how this page got into trouble the first time. Leaving them is the smaller claim.
How the positions were found
By measuring, after eyeballing went wrong. Read by eye, the marks came out three to nine pixels high, and consistently so: the major places carry an icon above their name, and the eye splits the difference between icon and text instead of settling on the text. Every plate then sat high enough to leave the Chinese peeking out beneath it.
What fixed it was looking for the lowest band of bright, warm pixels near each estimate — icon and text are the same gold, so lowest is what separates them, the text always sitting under its icon. Two of the corrections looked wrong and were right: 南部民居 moved 16 pixels and 凛风小径 moved 13, both further than seemed plausible, and the crops confirmed the measurement rather than the eye in both cases.
What the quest data does and does not say
Ten quests name Hallowgrove in an objective. Seventeen more mention it in their completion text and are not counted here — narrative that names a place is not a quest set in it. A Fair Trade! names both maps in its prose and is set in neither.
One correction worth stating, because this page got it wrong first. The White Crow sends you to “the docks”, and an earlier version of this page listed the docks as a Hallowgrove location. They are not: two other quests call them “the camp docks”, and the objective itself reads talk to Soekja at the docks, then head to the Hallowgrove. The docks are where you leave from.
Where these came from

The Brandrgarde map is the other raid map — four times the resolution, but with no labels printed on it at all. What extraction itself involves is on how extraction works, and the full quest list is on quests.
The Hallowgrove map, in English
The map ships with Chinese labels. Each English name here is drawn over the label it translates, at the spot the game printed it — so this is the same map, read in English, not a redrawn one. Drag to pan, scroll or use the buttons to zoom, double-click to reset.
20 labels are drawn in English over the Chinese ones printed on the map. 6 more are left in Chinese because no English name was found for them — an untranslated label is a smaller claim than an invented one. Switch the overlay off to see the original image.

Frequently asked questions
What is Hallowgrove in Mistfall Hunter?
One of the game's two raid maps, alongside Brandrgarde. Ten quests name it directly in their objectives — "Head to the Hallowgrove and escape successfully", "Search for the Gravekeeper's Hut in Hallowgrove", "Find the lost treasure in Hallowgrove". It is also the only map we have an image of with its place names printed on it, which is why this page can name 27 locations inside it while the Brandrgarde page manages 13.
What are all the locations in Hallowgrove?
Twenty-seven, listed on this page with the label each carries on the map. Ten of the English names come from the game's own English text — the Divine Anchor, Verdant Grounds, Demigod Coast, Sunset Fjord, the Slumbering Stronghold, the Supreme Hall, the Ancestor Tower, the Gravekeeper's Hut and both Ship Graves. Eleven more are the names English guides use, cross-checked against where the label sits on the map. Six have no English name we could find anywhere, and are listed in Chinese rather than translated by us.
Is there an English map of Hallowgrove?
This page is one. The game prints its Hallowgrove map with Chinese labels, and here the English name is drawn over each label at the spot the game printed it — 20 of the 26 labels the image carries. The remaining six stay in Chinese because no English name for them appears in the game's own text or in any guide we could find, and a translation we made up would read exactly like a sourced one. The overlay switches off, which is how you check any of it against the original underneath.
Where are the extraction points on the Hallowgrove map?
Not marked here, because we do not know them. The only positions this page can honestly claim are the ones printed on the image itself — that is, where the game wrote each place name — and an extraction point is not written on the map. Marking one where we guessed would be indistinguishable from marking one we had confirmed, so nothing is marked at all. The image is here at full resolution, zoomable, so you can read it yourself.
What is Chaos mode in Hallowgrove?
A harder state of the map that four Hallowgrove quests require by name — Deep Investigation, Evil Purge, Housecleaning and Investigate Soul Experiments. Nine objectives across the whole game ask for it, and those four are the only ones tied to a specific map. What Chaos mode changes mechanically is not something we can source — Bellring Games has not written about it, and the quest text never says more than "in Chaos mode".
Is there a separate Chaos-mode map of Hallowgrove?
Not one we have found. The source wiki does carry two images named Hallowgrove-Normal and Hallowgrove-Chaos, and they are not maps — they are scene artwork of a single location in the two states, which is a real and interesting difference but not a layout you can navigate by. We say this because the filenames strongly suggest otherwise, and we shipped them as maps ourselves before opening them.
Where does this map come from?
The image was taken from mistfallhunter.wiki on 2 August 2026, a third-party wiki whose material appears to come from the game files. The quest and item text comes from mistfalldb.com, captured 6 August 2026. Bellring Games has published neither, so nothing on this page can be checked against a first-party source.
